I first wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to email me and are considering me as your wedding photographer. Wedding photography means more to me than just pretty photos to me...it's getting to know each of the couples I work for and making memories for them. When I take photos of each of my couples it's fun, natural, relaxed and it's my goal to tell their love story. When I got married to the love of my life (Josh) almost 12 years ago when we were babies we didn't have much of a connection with our photographer, didn't do an engagement session and we have 7 very posed cheesy portraits of us from our wedding day. My goal as a wedding photographer is to photograph each of my couples engagement session and wedding in a candid, natural yet artful way. I want more than what I got from my wedding photographer for each of my couples. It's really important to me!
Throughout this pricing guide I will include tons of information and details but if you have anymore questions after reading through this I'm happy to help in anyway. I thank my lucky stars I get to photograph the kindest and most fun couples ever and I can't wait to get to know you more!

Hi, I'm Erin!
I'm the owner and photographer behind Erin Wilson Photography. I thank my lucky stars every day that I have a job that allows me to do exactly what I love and work with amazing people. I don't take it for granted for one second.
I've been married to my tall-drink-of-water husband for almost 12 years and we have a 9 year old little red headed daughter named Penelope Lane and a 3 year old blonde son named Emerson Gray. We love themed family nights, exploring, throwing parties, remodeling our 70's fixer upper home and dance parties in the living room.
I love traveling, exploring, pink pedicures, liquid eye liner, coffee, fashion magazines, HGTV, obsessed with decorating and throwing parties, the way Anthropologie smells and cooking. We recently purchased an old 70's fixer upper and we've been remodeling from top to bottom. My dream is to visit all 50 states one day and travel to Paris. Actually to photograph weddings in all 50 states and a wedding in Paris would be even better! One of my very favorite things in life is to travel to all kinds of towns and cities and explore where the locals love to shop and dine and I love taking photos of all the unique places I've been. I just love finding new places.
For the last two years I've been shooting film along with my digital camera and film is my favorite medium to create beautiful images. I'm completely in love with the depth and colors that film creates. I shoot all weddings with both my film and digital cameras for the blend of both worlds.

Erin was an absolute joy to work with and her talent of capturing memories from our big day was absolutely incredible! Erin had so many ideas for various poses and settings that turned out so beautifully and was able to instruct everyone in the wedding party exactly what to doand made everyone feel comfortable. I appreciated how attentive to detail she was, her very personable, fun, and professional personality, and how she helped create a wedding day timeline so that the whole day ran smoothly and efficiently. We cannot thank her enough for the gorgeous images she created for us! We went for a package that included engagements, a bridal session, and the full day of wedding and are so glad we did. The images she captured from each session will hold a cherished place in our hearts forever. Every single image we received was beautiful and I have received overwhelming compliments on the work she provided for us – everyone tells me how our wedding pictures are the most beautiful they’ve ever seen and like something straight out of a bridal magazine or movie – her work is more beautiful than words can describe. We cannot thank Erin enough for capturing such beautiful memories! She truly goes above and beyond to make her clients happy and helped give us the wedding of our dreams!
What to expect
Engagement Sessions - 2 hour sessions that include two to three outfits and two nearby locations (within a 15 minute drive). I am completely open to helping each couple find outfits that photograph well and pairing those with amazing locations for the best photos. I do some formal photos and a ton of fun natural things to create those gorgeous images you see in my portfolio.
Bridal Sessions - are a 1 hour session we can schedule anytime before your wedding day leading up to a month before if you want to have a print to showcase at the wedding. Many of my brides have chosen to have their bridal session the day of their wedding as well to ensure there are plenty of photos of just them in that gorgeous dress you choose.
Wedding Day Schedule - Many couples don't know exactly how much coverage they might need but here are some ideas to help you know how much wedding day coverage you might need. The most common time that couples need coverage is 7-9 hours which is why I created packages just for that. I typically schedule 1.5 -2 hours just for portrait time alone and that includes time for you and your groom to have photos, your entire wedding party including individuals and all family portraits. Many couples choose to do a first look and we start these images around 2 hours before the ceremony leaving a 30 minute break for the bride and groom to rest before the ceremony while I photograph details and guests entering the ceremony. If you choose not to do a first look I'm able to schedule around 30 minutes of those photos before the ceremony that include the bride and her bridesmaids, parent photos and then groom and his groomsmen and parent photos. All other photos have to be done after the ceremony because they include both of you in them! So be prepared for around an hour of photos after the ceremony when many people will schedule a *cocktail* hour. So choosing how many hours you want photographed the day of will depend on how much you want covered while you get ready and how long your reception is. Some couples have me stay just long enough to photograph the highlights of the reception and some dancing and then I'll head out while you celebrate all night long. Many couples choose me to stay to the end. Completely up to you!
BRIT AND MICHAEL
Erin was literally the BEST photographer! We received so many compliments on our engagements and wedding photos. She captured every single moment of our day so perfectly! I could not be more pleased with our photos. She was also so sweet, thoughtful, and genuine!
EMILY AND TAYLOR
Working with Erin was such a pleasure. She went above and beyond to accommodate us, even taking time out of a family vacation to shoot our engagement photos. Through the entire process it was if we were working with an old friend. She captured the raw emotion of our wedding day so beautifully . I would work with Erin again, and again!
HEATHER AND MICHAEL
I found Erin last year before my fiancé and I got engaged. I had looked for 6+ months for a photographer who could capture my wedding day perfectly and when I saw her photos I knew she was the one. If you are reading this and want real insight into how this process works, let me explain. Erin isn't just your photographer, she was my sanity. Your wedding day is super busy and it was SO nice to sit and get my makeup done and for a few minutes her and I just got to chat, and it calmed me down SO much. Her personality is so calming and she never gets worked up or stressed out. She put my veil in, she straightened my dress, she laughed with me, she wasn't just a photographer there to capture my day she was my friend. Thank you for everything Erin!! You were the best :)
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your different than other photographers? - My main goal is to take timeless artful images that reflect each of my couples. I shoot film and digital images to keep that classic look while giving natural and fun direction for connection in photos. I always keep in mind what you're wanting and love to work with each of my couples to come up with new things to try.
Will you get a print release to print my images when the wedding is over? Yes!
Do you photograph elopements or small intimate weddings? Yes, please feel free to ask me about custom elopement and intimate wedding packages. I love to travel too!
We're having a destination wedding or getting married in another state or country...do you travel? Yes please! I love traveling and I just ask that my plane and hotel is covered for that and that's it! No extra travel fee.
More frequently asked Questions:
Okay so I want to book...what do I do next?! Well yay! I'm so excited. This is what you need to book your wedding with me...a $1000 retainer to hold your wedding date and a completed contract. I send an online invoice and an online contract for you to fill out, save and print a copy for yourself. After that, you're all set! After that a $1000 payment is due 90 days before your wedding and the remainder of your package is due 30 days before your wedding day. I send online invoices for everything.
Do you charge a travel fee within Arkansas? I have included travel for all of my packages within a 2 hour radius of where I live. I live exactly halfway between Little Rock and Fayetteville so both areas are included as well as Hot Springs, Tulsa OK, Eureka Springs and Branson. After that radius of where I live I charge $25 per hour of travel and if I need to stay overnight just a hotel room covered!
What equipment do you use? For film I use a Contax 645 and sometimes a Canon 1V with my canon lenses. For digital I use my Canon Mark III and L series lenses with flash when needed.
How many images will come in my gallery? I average 65+ images per hour of wedding day coverage but usually much more!
I see you get featured online and in magazines often...will my wedding be featured? Although several of my weddings to get featured, this is not something I can guarantee. Editors are always looking for unique details, beautiful florals, design, beautiful light and interesting color palettes. If you want your wedding featured let me know ahead of time and we can work together!
Do I have to order prints through you? No, not at all! However I do suggest ordering from either myself or a professional lab for the best quality. When you order through me you'll be assured the colors will be correct and the quality will be the finest. I want you to have the best!
Lastly, I just want to say that I know you can choose any photographer in the world but I'm thankful that you have considered me as your wedding photographer! It means the world to me that you love my work and are thinking about working with me. This last year I was able to help my very own sister plan and then photograph her wedding and I'm very aware of everything that goes into making your day perfect. I know that each vendor your choose has been chosen with careful consideration and in hopes that your day is as perfect as it can be. I know that beyond taking photos of you and your loved ones that you want to be able to remember what your day looked and felt like to preserve those precious memories you've created on one of the best days of your lives.
